Chemistry Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship
Closing date: Friday 31st January 2025.
Gain the scientific knowledge and technical skills needed to start or progress a career in the chemical industry. An innovative blend of higher education and work-based learning, this training rapidly develops apprentices into confident and capable laboratory professionals. Apprentices are taught through tutor-supported online study, with one fully funded residential week on campus each year at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Cyber Security Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship
Closing date: Friday 31st January 2025.
Learn how to support Security Incident and Event Management activities and Architectural Reviews of proposed changes to HPC's IT environment whilst helping to maintain/develop awareness of current information security technology and threats. As their knowledge and experience increases, apprentices will take on more responsibility, such as: security architecture and vulnerability scans and/or risk assessments. They may also represent the Security Team at forums/events and be responsible for particular policies, standards, and other documents.

Health Physics Monitor Level 2 Apprenticeship
Closing date: Friday 31st January 2025.
Work with skilled professionals at Hinkley Point C and across EDF’s power station fleet to provide crucial radiological monitoring services that protect people, plant, and the environment from radioactive contamination. Apprentices will use specialist instruments to take readings of contamination levels and radiation dose rates in a variety of situations, and learn how to record the readings detected and interpret these measurements.

Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) Level 3 Apprenticeship
Closing date: Friday 31st January 2025.
Learn the foundation principles and knowledge of engineering (including how to install, test, service, remove, replace, maintain, and repair a range of equipment) before moving through into a specialist area of either Mechanical, Electrical, or Control and Instrumentation as training progresses. At the end of this apprenticeship, candidates will have the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and experience needed to work at one of EDF’s power stations.

Nuclear Engineering (NEDA) Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship
Closing date: Friday 31st January 2025.
Benefit from valuable on-the-job training in a technical nuclear environment and the kind of practical experience you simply can’t get on campus! Learn how to select the most appropriate mathematical, engineering, and/or scientific tool(s) to analyse problems and find innovative solutions that consider the entire life cycle of the nuclear facility. Apprentices also put theoretical learning into practice by observing, recording, and drawing conclusions from data and experimental evidence to apply design processes that meet nuclear industry standards.
