Teamwork, robots, design, discovery, fun and loads of LEGO
Apply for your school to take part in the Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge 2019/20, a curriculum-linked programme that sees students (11-14s) working together in teams to solve real-world engineering, technology and computing challenges for a chance to win some great prizes.
Students will learn how to build, program and control autonomous LEGO robots to complete a series of short, exciting missions using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets. Teamwork, robots, design, discovery, fun and loads of LEGO are all part of the mix.
The journey starts in school. The challenge events are the culmination of a ten-week extra-curricular or in-school programme – with the help of structured activity plans and learning software as well as teacher CPD.
The challenge could take your team all the way from regional heats to UK final on Friday 13 March 2020 at The Big Bang Fair and will open up potential new careers to your students and help put their school learning into context. The Robotics Challenge can be a stepping stone to the First LEGO League and previous teams have gone on to have real success when they’ve taken part.
Applications are open until 15 July 2019 - Apply to take part here >
