What's in Store for You
This opportunity is designed for individuals aged 18-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), accompanied by an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Note: For this academic year a small number of places may be available for learners with a SEND need but do not have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
In our Supported Internship programme, you'll undergo three rotations during the academic year, each lasting a few months. These rotations will offer hands-on experience in a range of roles, such as Materials Management, Ward Clerk, Housekeeping, Catering Assistant, Chef Assistant, Stores Assistant, Linen Room, Portering and Facilities – Gardening. Each rotation presents a chance to learn, contribute, and explore different aspects of hospital operations. By the end of the programme, you'll have a well-rounded understanding of various roles, setting the stage for your future success.
