Young Somerset Supported Internships

Young Somerset have partnered with Somerset Skills and Learning to provide Supported Internship opportunities for young people aged 16 to 25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Starting in September 2024, the internship will be based four days a week at the Bold and Brave shop in Taunton. Interns will spend one day a week with Somerset Skills and Learning working on employability skills and the potential to gain qualifications in areas such as -

  • Food hygiene
  • Customer service
  • Manual handling
  • Digital skills
