About the organisation
From its home at the Bath & West Showground in the heart of Somerset the Society achieves it's charitable objectives through an array of activities, projects and events; the most famous of which is the Royal Bath & West Show. The Society’s other events include The Dairy Show, the Food & Drink Festival and the Field to Food Learning Day. We are also an event location for external events.
Careers Activities & Information
As a Society we are pleased to be able to offer free workshops to schools and education settings, we can provide short assemblies or activities for primary school students or career workshops for secondary school students.
We can tailor our offering to suit your needs and would be very happy to discuss your requirements.
Some of the talks and workshops that we can deliver:
- Personalised visit from a local farmer – suitable for primary school.
- Farming and countryside assembly – suitable for primary school.
- Careers in agriculture – exploring STEM – suitable for secondary school.
- Careers in events management – suitable for secondary school.
