Primary & Secondary Engineer

This free competition is open to children and  students between the ages of 3 and 19. Awards are  presented to entries from each year group. All entries  are graded by engineers with winning and shortlisted pupil designs displayed at public exhibitions up and down  the country.

All the pupils need to do is answer the question, “If you were an engineer, what would you do?”, they will need to interview engineers about what it means to be an  engineer, find a problem, invent a solution, draw it, explain it and send it in. It should include a letter to engineers  explaining what their invention is and who it benefits, and they could be a trophy winner, and even get their  invention made!
