Careers Activities & Information
Primary school activities include:
Assembly/interactive presentation ‘What is an Engineer?’: The session will help to break gender stereotypes and offers an opportunity to discuss roles in aircraft production.
STEM Activity: Make paper rotor/helicopters with wind tunnel. Suitable for Key Stage 1.
Teamwork: ‘Design a Helicopter’ in small groups. Each student is given a different job role. The group then works together to fulfill the brief, fit client plans and keep to budget. Suitable for Key Stage 2.
